On Thursday, 18 December 2025, the Operations Officer of the Makeni Division, Inspector Ibrahim Kaba Conteh, together with his team, arrested two suspects in connection with the possession of suspected illicit drugs.
The suspects, identified as Saidu Koroma of No. 54 Rogbaneh Road, Makeni, and Ibrahim Abu of the Rokel Area, Makeni, were arrested and brought to the Makeni Police Station. During the operation, the police recovered four hundred (400) wraps of a substance suspected to be Kush, along with a quantity of dried leaves also believed to be Kush.
Both suspects and the exhibits are currently in police custody as investigations continue.
